Adventure Trek: Mexico

I left Mexico for boarding school in Colorado in 2004, and ever since then my visits home have been in snippets of time. The most time I've spent at home in Mexico since I left has been a couple of months, during the summer of 2006. This is the first time my whole family has been in this house, together, since Christmas 2009. This is just the way life is. We go where we can, when we can, while we can. And we love it. (This lifestyle is also the reason behind the title of this blog.)

So here we are. Together in Mexico. So what better way to eat, travel and drink, than to trek to some of the cooler places around home.

Check it out: (we took a day trip to Bernal, home of the second biggest natural monolith in the world)

back in Queretaro

After posting all of these photographs, I realized that I had a bunch more from yet another Adventure Trek, still in Mexico, just in a different town.

Take a stroll down San Miguel de Allende:

  1. ISA. I've been away only 12 hours and I miss you all so much. I <3 Queretaro.

  2. Isa, love the pictures, reminds me of an awesome week back in 06. Sadly, no pictures of minor concussions, monkeys on tricycles, or flat tires, but still...very attractive photos.
