An afternoon with my parents' friends is always an experience: interesting conversation, outlandish statements, lots of laughing and lots of wine.
Behold the product of a few glasses of wine and a sheet of paper.
Cheers.

Throwback: The Bridges of London
Unusual and unforeseeable circumstances have prevented me from returning to London this summer. However, I just realized I can revisit any time I want just by scrolling back through this blog.

Adventure Trek: Mexico
I left Mexico for boarding school in Colorado in 2004, and ever since then my visits home have been in snippets of time. The most time I've spent at home in Mexico since I left has been a couple of months, during the summer of 2006. This is the first time my whole family has been in this house, together, since Christmas 2009. This is just the way life is. We go where we can, when we can, while we can. And we love it. (This lifestyle is also the reason behind the title of this blog.)
So here we are. Together in Mexico. So what better way to eat, travel and drink, than to trek to some of the cooler places around home.
Check it out: (we took a day trip to Bernal, home of the second biggest natural monolith in the world)

After posting all of these photographs, I realized that I had a bunch more from yet another Adventure Trek, still in Mexico, just in a different town.

Give Me a Hand
This project just seems like a joke. I'm sorry. The title is just cheesy and annoying. I went through a tremendous brainstorm braintornado (which involved everything from rock cliffs to zombies) and finally happened upon a more classic and simple approach.

Ring Around the Rosie
In the spirit of sharing, I figured I would post the pictures I've been working on since this Saturday. My model was tremendously helpful and didn't even wince at - what I can only assume - was increasing pain in her arms.
Here are my attempts at a conceptual portrait:
note: the first two images would be shown next to each other.

Gig Time: Rye Rye/Diplo
I had another concert shoot this weekend, courtesy - as always - of The Newshouse [who, incidentally, haven't put any pictures up yet. Slackers.]. All kidding aside, it was a capital-C CRAZY show in SU's Goldstein Auditorium: complete with glow sticks, a baseline low enough to induce heart failure, and some quality music.
Check out stills from the show:
